Singer Bio:

John Stephens is a recording artist from New Prague MN who is also a full-time pastor and worship leader at the church he serves at. His love of writing music and modern style of playing have been a passion that has been developed for many years. As early as nine years old, John began playing by ear taking anything he was learning and started recreating it in his own unique modern style. It was at this time as well that a choir teacher in school encouraged him to join choir and he began developing a love for singing that continues to this day. He later picked up guitar rather quickly and enjoys it as well. John writes Christian instrumental music but also has a passion for writing modern congregational hymns and solo arrangements for the glory of God. Although music is one of John’s passions, Jesus Christ is his ultimate treasure. Music to John is simply the avenue by which he expresses this overarching truth in his life.
